The Victorian style mansion is believed to be haunted by two ghosts. The first ghost Eugenia, is the daughter of the former owner of the house. Eugenia died of consumption and never lived in the house, but her spirit still haunts the halls. The second ghost, bides its time in the Periwinkle room and has been described as mischievous and disturbing. The former hostess of the home reported seeing an apparition exit a painting in the museum room. The ghost have also been reported making loud noises and crashing sounds. The former private residence now serves as a historical home.

i use to live in the house across the street from that house and it is definitely haunted. i use yo see an old lady standing in the window just looking out like she was bored. seeing something everyday you get use to it but this old historical house was in the middle of the hood an nobody ever went there. we never took pictures there or nothing. every once an a while we would get tourists that wold block our whole neighborhood with cars because it was in a one way. but the lonely days of that house just sitting there it’s definitely creepy. don’t look iver there at night. not to mention something weird or bad was always happening by us. Specifically between our house and merrehope. nowhere else!
