Chapel of the Cross Cemetery

The Chapel of the Cross Cemetery in Madison is home to the grave of Henry Grey Vick. The story goes something like this - Henry was set to marry a woman named Helen Johnstone, but days before he was killed in a duel. Supposedly Helen was so heartbroken by the death of her fiancé, that she wore her wedding dress to his funeral. There have been numerous reports from witnesses who have spotted Helen's ghost, still wearing her wedding dress, visiting Henry's grave. She sometimes can be seen sitting in the bench nearby to his grave.
