Bellevue - The Longfellow Place
Pascagoula, MS 39567
Bellevue, also known as The Longfellow Place is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and it faces the Gulf of Mexico. It is also reportedly haunted. It was once the home to a slave trader and is said to be haunted by the slaves who were abused and murdered here. Stories say that the mistress of the house was cruel to the slaves and would often beat them to near death, and more than a few would later succumb to their wounds. Reports here include slamming doors, items being thrown, among some other eerie happenings.

Lived in a near by town from birth until my mid 20s. Was the teenager dare to go into Longfellow house and get a picture on the third floor.
Been in the place at least a dozen times between the early 90s and mid 90s. Never saw anything. Heard odd noises.
Cool place.

Me and my family went to check it out and we bring ghost detectors during talking with Sammy one of the ghost she let us know there was more than 10 people in there and they got cursed by the man that abused them and they couldn't come out so they scared people away Sammy had a fellow friend named Henry Henry was a nice guy he gave me a pat on the head but then boom ev we ything just went silent and that's when the last thing Sammy said was go threw the back don't let him see u run as fast as you can if he catches u youl be like us with a curse so me and my family ran and ran to the back and hid behind trees that's when we heard mumbles then we slowly checked under the house and we seen a cursed toy so we threw it with our gloves on and we just heard people laughing and does slamming and when. We went to check on Sammy and Henry they told us we saved them but they want revenge on all the other people that decided not to help just take pictures.

I was with my friends going out to eat after we left the place I saw the house I took a video of it but then I saw one of those window things on the roof of the house open and then I saw a figure with blood all over it I heard whispering and all that nonstop and I ran back to the truck and I said oh no I'm never doing that again but later I passed it again and I heard banging on my car and tapping on my windows of the car and I drove off this place is really scary but still I am a historical man and I like looking at it online

I live in the apartments next door and boy have I seen stuff. When the people are not home there are people pressing against the windows. One time me and my friends were playing and while no breeze was there the outside baby swing was swinging. Every night there is tapping on the window and no one is there. You can hear people muttering softly when no one is at the place muttering happens. This house is very scary and do not recommend living near it.

My friends and I just went by the longfellow house and we believe we captured an entity on are video. We drove to turn around in the back parking lot once we realized it was not a tourist attraction anymore and were on our way back out when I was recording and taking pictures of the house. 4 days later we were looking at the video footage and noticed what looks to be an entity in the window of the house. It made the hair on all of our necks stand up. Very creepy... This place definetly has some adverse energy going on.
