Ahern's Belle of the Bend's
508 Klein Street
Vicksburg, MS 39180
Vicksburg, MS 39180
This 1876 postbellum mansion is named for the paddle wheel steamship that famously carried president Teddy Roosevelt to Vicksburg. The Bed and Breakfast site is believed to be occupied by ghosts who lived there during the early days of the mansion's history. Guests have reported a feminine presence within the rooms as well as the smell of perfume. Some guests have even seen the fleeting image of a gentleman dressed in an old fashioned suit.
